Grid Ref: ST 5901 4861 (ST 54 NE)

A much ploughed-out long barrow, just NE of a sharp angle in Haydon Drove. 75 feet long, 45 wide and 1.5 high. Oriented EW. Grinsells no: St Cuthbert Out III. {1}

No mound is visible on the 1946 RAF photos of the area but there are signs of infilled mining rakes running from the NW. The location of the "barrow" has been built on. {2}
