An Iron Age hillfort excavated in 1911 and 1957
Details:
A) A hillfort substantially altered in later periods.
B) Pottery found during excavation in 1957 showed was it occupied at some point in the late Iron Age.
C) Excavations by St John Hope in 1911 found an Iron Age pit in south.
D) Early Iron Age finds are known.
